The Real Her

The Real Her

February 21, 2018 Poetry 1

She put on her face today

That gorgeous one with a smile

Carefully she sealed it

As not reveal to the guile

Her face composed

Of various beauties

The shining windows

Radiant sun

Vivid roses

But crashes down,

reality does

When day ceases to exist

She rips it furiously

Suddenly truth shows-

Rapid rivers running

across the forehead pose

As the shattered window glass

Weeps waterfalls of eternal sorrow

She put on her face today-

But will it be on tomorrow?

With suicide and bullying becoming an increasing problem, don’t let others sink into their shell. Compliment them, make their day brighter. We never know what truly is going on inside one’s head, but we certainly can prevent negative thoughts. I challenge every single one of you reading this right now to do this:

TEXT OR TELL THE FIRST PERSON YOU SEE WITH A COMPLIMENT OR A HOW ARE YOU. AFTER THEY SMILE AND THANK YOU, COMMENT ON THIS POST. LET ME SEE THE COMPASSION WE HAVE FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!

Toodles
